CORRECTION: REVLON SLASHES AD SPENDING

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Revlon on Aug. 2 reduced projections for increased ad spending in 2001 to $25 million to $30 million from a previously projected increase of $40 million to $45 million for the year. Previously, AdAge.com reported that Revlon had decreased second-quarter ad spending from projections by a similar amount.
