A chart titled "Top 100 newspapers by circulation" (May 9, P. 50) failed to note the Arizona Republic compared six-month circulation figures for the period ended March 31, 1994, to three-month figures for the first quarter of the previous year in its Audit Bureau of Circulations FAS-FAX report. Those comparisons showed a decline. If comparable six-month numbers were made available, the Republic would have shown a 2.1% increase in daily circulation and a 2.5% increase on Sunday.
