'Cosmo' exec takes 'Parade' job

Jennifer Gallo, associate publisher-advertising of Hearst Magazines' Cosmopolitan, New York, was named senior VP-ad director at Parade. She is the first major hire by Parade Exec VP Jack Kliger, who came aboard in June. "We haven't really had a strong ad director for a while," he said. "This shows a clear commitment to how we want to see Parade sold and marketed in the future." Mr. Kliger said he is looking to build a sales and marketing team, noting that Ms. Gallo is going to be "a key part of the future of Parade."
