Hearst Magazines clarified the succession plans at Cosmopolitan with the announcement that the February 1997 issue will be the last one edited by Helen Gurley Brown. The company, which first announced a succession plan last January, will then turn over the reins to Deputy Editor Bonnie Fuller.
