Cossette lands $5 million Canadian supermarket business

MONTREAL--Metro-Richelieu, one of Quebec's largest super-market operations, with some business in Ontario, has awarded its estimated $5 million account to Cossette Communication-Marketing, Montreal.

Losing the account is Publicis-BCP, which has held it since 1991. Cossette will handle all advertising and promotion, including both creative and media.

Cossette worked for several years on the account of Provigo, Metro-Richelieu's main rival, but hasn't handled anything for it in the past year.
