Their love story always seemed a bit off-key. But when Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley-Jackson finally called it quits, the breakup of their marriage still hit the top of the charts.

The King of Pop and the Presley princess scored 10.5 points with eight magazine covers in February to capture the top spot for Cover Story, with appearances in the National Enquirer, Star and People.

Others finishing in the top 10 for the month include: the cast of "Friends" with 8 points; Demi Moore, 6.5; Magic Johnson, 5.5; Michelle Pfeiffer, Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey, all 4; Ellen DeGeneres, 3.5; and Christa McAuliffe, Kim Coles, Katie Couric, Kim Fields, Mary Hart, Anita Hill, Samuel L.
