Cox buys stations

Cox Broadcasting, Atlanta, plans to buy 18 radio stations from NewCity Communications, Bridgeport, Conn., for $250 million. In a separate deal, Cox plans to trade two Chicago stations to Infinity Broadcasting for three Orlando stations. If the deals are given regulatory approval, Cox will own 38 stations.
