Crain names chairman

Crain Communications named Keith E. Crain chairman, succeeding the late Gertrude Crain. Mr. Crain had been vice chairman of the company, which publishes 30 business, trade and consumer titles, including Advertising Age and Automotive News, and operates two radio stations. Rance Crain, editor in chief of Advertising Age, continues as president.
