Jean Robaire and Sally Hogshead, co-founders in 1996 of The Martin Agency's small West Coast outpost, Martin Creative L.A., were out of work all of three days last month when Martin Creative folded. The resourceful pair sprang back instantly with L.A.'s Robaire & Hogshead, which they describe as an "a la carte" shop, which is like a boutique, only smaller. They're still doing creative for Remy Martin via The Martin Agency, and they'll be working on a project basis with other clients and agencies, which is "what excites me the most," says Robaire. The veteran CD ran Stein Robaire Helm for seven years, and still regrets the time he lost to administrative tasks.
