CRONIN AND CO. ACQUIRES AD SHOP WALLWORK & CURRY

(July 18, 2001) -- Marketing communications agency Cronin and Co. has acquired Boston-based advertising agency Wallwork & Curry.

The deal, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, brings the new entity's billings to $70 million. Clients will include Steinway & Co., Domain Home Furnishings and the Connecticut Lottery.

Bill Cronin, president of Cronin, will be president of the new entity, working in Cronin's Glastonbury, Conn., offices. Wallwork & Curry principals Jack Wallwork and Bob Curry are now managing directors and executive creative directors at Cronin/Wallwork Curry, located in Boston. -- Lisa Sanders
