(June 29, 2001) -- Silversea Cruises christened Fallon, New York, for an estimated $3 million creative assignment after a review managed by Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif.

The Publicis Groupe shop beat finalists including Bcom3 Group's Bartle Bogle Hegarty; DiMassimo and Ground Zero, both New York; McKinney & Silver, Raleigh, N.C., and Crispin Porter Bogusky, Miami.

"Fallon uniquely demonstrated a deep understanding of the balance between building an elite luxury brand and connecting emotionally with the Silversea target audience," said Silversea's vice president of marketing, Helen McCabe-Young.

The cruise line will debut in July an all-suite luxury ship called Silver Whisper. -- Kate MacArthur
