CVS to hold media review

Published on .

CVS, Woonsocket, R.I., will review its estimated $15 million to $20 million media account following its anticipated acquisition of Revco D.S., Twinsburg, Ohio, later this spring. CVS, whose entire ad account is with Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson, Boston, hopes to consolidate at a single agency its and Revco's media buying, which has been handled in-house. DeWitt Media and TBS Media Management, both New York, are finalists; the account ultimately could be worth as much as $40 million. Creative will continue to be handled by Ingalls for CVS and Saffer Group, Don Mills, Ontario, for Revco.
