Published on .

According to a new report from online research firm Cyber Dialogue, 35 million of today's 58 million Internet users are conducting some sort of financial services activity on the Internet. The study, which was conducted in conjunction with consultancy Booz-Allen & Hamilton, found that 2 million "digital investors" use America Online's Personal Finance area for managing finances, more than five times that of the nearest established brokerage branded Web site. Other leading banking sites were Quicken.com (13.5%); Yahoo! Finance/My Yahoo! (10.8%); Charles Schwab (6.1%); Fidelity Investments (3.1%); Microsoft Investor/Money Insider (2.9%); and NASDAQ (2.6%).
