D'Arcy may add German shop

D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in Hamburg is rumored to be acquiring Germany's third largest direct marketing agency, Direct Friends, which had 1995 gross income of $11 million. Direct Friends' roster includes Citibank and German mail order company Quelle Schickendanz; DMB&B already holds a minority stake in Frankfurt-based direct marketing agency Dorfer Dialog.
