DAEWOO PUTS REVIEW FOR $90 MILLION ACCOUNT ON HOLD

(June 25, 2001) -- Daewoo Motor America has put the review for its estimated $90 million U.S. account on hold indefinitely. A spokesman cited General Motors Corp.'s negotiations to acquire the automaker's troubled South Korean parent. The finalists were all independent California shops: Sagon-Phior, Sherman Oaks; E Squared and 4X4, both Los Angeles.
