Dailey has passive role in Hilton review

At the client's request, roster agency Dailey & Associates will not participate in the formal review process for the $40 million Hilton Hotels Corp. and Hilton International consolidated global account, although Hilton says the West Hollywood, Calif., shop remains a strong contender. The agency has teamed up with Lowe Howard-Spink, London, and Western International Media, Los Angeles, to seek the business. Agencies scheduled to pitch the account this month include Bates Worldwide, Irvine, Calif.; and J. Walter Thompson USA and Y&R Advertising, both San Francisco. A decision is expected in February.
