Daimler-Benz in joint laser TV launch

Published on .

Instead of a TV's conventional cathode ray tube, the new-style TV's laser display technology involves three laser beams and a projector that transport a picture onto any wall, without loss of picture quality.

TBWA Frankfurt has been named as the agency to launch the product in spring 1998 across Europe and the U.S.

The family-owned Schneider, with 1996 sales of $186 million, is now seeking investment from a partner in order to market its new technology.
