The shoot-out between two incumbents for the $1.8 billion consolidated global media and creative account of DaimlerChrysler Corp., Auburn Hills, Mich., will be held over two days, not one as previously reported. Presenting the morning of Oct. 6 will be the various agencies of True North Communications, Chicago, including the Southfield, Mich., office of FCB Worldwide. FCB is the incumbent on the national and regional dealer Jeep and Chrysler brand accounts. On Oct. 5, the automaker heard from various Omnicon Group agencies, including the Troy, Mich., office BBDO
Worldwide, which handles the national and regional Dodge dealer accounts. A spokesman for the marketer said a decision will come sometime in the fourth quarter.
