DDB Chicago's 'Whassup' Takes Top Windy TV Award

Omnicom Group's DDB Chicago took Best of Show honors in TV for its "Whassup: The Language Tape" campaign at the Chicago Advertising Federation's second annual Windy Awards. Bcom3 Group's Leo Burnett USA won the top print award for its "Warm Wishes" campaign for Hallmark Cards.

Burnett picked up the most Windy's with 13, followed by nearly defunct shop Arian, Lowe & Travis, which won 11 trophies, and Y&R Advertising, which snagged seven awards. The local winners feed into the American Advertising Federation's Addy Awards.
