Worldwide, Chicago, is on a hot streak with the win of Downers Grove, Ill.-based FTD/Florists' Transworld Delivery's traditional and FTD.com ad business, which executives say could be worth up to $50 million. The bulk of the FTD work may come from 5-year-old FTD.com. FTD told the Securities & Exchange Commission in May it intends to spin off the online venture in a public stock offering. in the finals. It becomes FTD's fifth agency in seven years and succeeds Doner
, Southfield, Mich. FTD last year boosted its measured media spending 4% to an estimated $15.6 million, according to Competitive Media Reporting. The win comes two weeks after DDB snapped up Ameritrade's $50 million account for the On-Money Web portal.
