DDB Worldwide wins Exxon Mobil account

Exxon Mobil Corp. the week of June 26 tapped DDB Worldwide for its $100 million-plus global fuels marketing account. DDB, led by its New York office, had been in a shoot-out with McCann-Erickson Worldwide, which had been led by its Houston office. McCann had handled Exxon and DDB had Mobil before the two companies merged late last year. An Exxon Mobil spokesman said McCann will get some global lubricant business.
