(July 2, 2001) -- Quorn Foods, a retail brand of meatless frozen entrees, today announced that Glastonbury, Conn.-based Decker will handle its $10 million account and create its first U.S. campaign, set to break in 2002.

Quorn, owned by health care company AstraZeneca, was launched in Europe in the mid-1990s. Its frozen vegetarian meals were recently introduced in the U.S. at the Food Marketing Institute convention in Chicago. Decker assisted Quorn with promotional and marketing support for the event.

Other Decker clients include Days Inns Worldwide, Carr's Crackers and Cookies, and Famous Grouse Scotch Whisky. Annual billings exceed $30 million. -- Abbey Klaassen
