Dem ads continue to rap Bush

Published on .

The Democratic National Committee, which has been running ads critical of George W. Bush during this week's Republican National Convention, unveiled a new spot today attacking the Texas governor's environmental record. The 30-second commercial, due to run in 17 states, suggests Texas has become more polluted under Gov. Bush, with Houston passing Los Angeles as the U.S. smog capital. The Democratic National Committee ads are being done by the same ad team that's handling advertising for Al Gore's presidential campaign.
