Dentsu to buy into researcher

Dentsu, Japan's largest ad agency, said it will buy a 10% stake in a corporate research company affiliated with the country's largest brokerage, Nomura Securities Co. Tokyo-based Dentsu said Nomura Investor Relations will help it take a stronger position in the field of information services for corporate investors. Dentsu will send members of its staff to work at Nomura Investor Relations to help with issues relating to advertising and marketing. Dentsu said it may raise its stake in the company in the future.
