DENTSU TO OPEN E-SERVICES SHOP DENTSUFUSE

(Aug. 6, 2001) TOKYO -- Following the end of Dentsu's e-partnership with the troubled U.S. company MarchFirst, the Japanese agency is renaming its Internet consultancy DentsuFuse, effective Sept. 1.

Wholly owned by Dentsu, the 70-strong company will focus on e-business strategy and consulting, user-experience branding and design, and information system integration and project management.

Dentsu ended its partnership with MarchFirst after the Chicago-based company filed for bankruptcy. -- Campbell Gray
