(April 26, 2001) -- A new design company has been launched with the purchase of iXL's New York Digital Video Group. Creative Bubble, co-founded by Jim Rocco, former president of iXL, will create graphics, editorial and production for video, multimedia projects and the Web. Principals include Rob Ortiz, John Tierney, Doug Dimon, Robin Horlick, Pat Carpenter, Tim Dwight, Karl Pilegis and Carl Levine.

The group has worked on projects for clients including Sesame Workshop, Showtime, HBO, ESPN, ABC, MTV, Nickelodeon, Disney SoapNet and Discovery Kids, as well as special effects and graphic design services for Omnicom Group's BBDO Worldwide's Snickers Crunch and Pizza Hut spots for Super Bowl 2001. -- Adrienne Mand
