Detroit papers face strike

Unions have set a July 13 strike date against Detroit Newspapers, which runs thebusiness side of the DetroitFree Press and Detroit News. The Council of Newspaper Unionsaccused Detroit Newspapers of asking for a strike by imposing terms ofmanagement's final offer on Detroit News reporters on Wednesday.
