DevX goes headhunting at

DevX, an online resource for the global application development community, on Nov. 6 will unveil recruitment banner ads, themed "If your dot-com's in the dead pool, try," at, a site devoted to news about dying dot-coms. DevX was spun off earlier this year by Fawcette Technical Publications, a publisher of software development magazines. DevX hopes to attract attention of laid-off dot-com executives to give its company a look-over. The banner, created in-house, debuts DevX's new logo, part of an overall multimillion-dollar rebranding effort just getting underway via Primo Angeli, San Francisco, and Schneider Integrated, New York.
