(May 30, 2001) -- Dial Corp. has eliminated incumbent DDB Worldwide, New York, from its estimated $20 million to $30 million personal cleansing products review.

The review included products such Tone and Dial Complete. The remaining contenders were not disclosed at press time.

This marks the end of Dial's long-term relationship with Omnicom Group-owned DDB, according to a DDB spokeswoman.

The review was initiated by Dial Chairman-CEO Herb Baum, who joined the company last year. -- Laura Petrecca
