Dial/Henkel buys dry cleaning kit

The Dial/Henkel joint venture between Dial Corp., Phoenix, and Henkel, Duesseldorf, said it will acquire the Custom Cleaner Home Dry Cleaning Kit from Creative Products Resource. Dial plans to restage and roll out the product, a competitor to Procter & Gamble Co.'s Dryel, nationally this autumn in the U.S., as P&G launches Dryel globally. The Custom Cleaner kit will make its European debut this fall in Germany. Ad plans weren't disclosed. DDB Worldwide, New York, is agency of record for all Dial brands.
