FACC Boasts More Than 100 Clients

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Leading direct-mail company Advo made its first foray outside the U.S. in its 73-year history with the acquisition of Toronto-based FACC Corp.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

FACC's more than 100 clients included food-service companies, restaurants and package-goods marketers. FACC sends out more than 250 million advertising mail pieces per year.

Advo, with $1 billion in annual revenues, distributes shared advertising mailers, including its core ShopWise product, to 100 million U.S. households. Its Web site, ShopWise.com, enables consumers to access marketers' offers and messages online. In addition, Advo's subisdiary MailCoups produces SuperCoups, a neighborhood-based direct-mail program for local businesses.
