Discovery, CN set TV series

Discovery Channel and CondeNet's Epicurious Food World Wide Web site will produce a TV series with the working title "Epicurious TV". It calls for 18 episodes to be produced and is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of 1998. The ad-supported shows will be produced by Basnyan Productions and will have a food specialist and food enthusiast as co-hosts in a studio environment. CondeNet is the online site for Conde Nast Publications, which is owned by Advance Publications. Advance owns a 25% interest in Discovery Channel.
