Pro forma revenues for Walt Disney Co.'s third fiscal quarter increased 15% to $5.1 billion and operating income increased 15% to $956 million. The company said net income for the quarter increased 25% to $406 million. Revenues for the nine-month period increased 12% to $16 billion and operating income increased 2% to $2.8 billion. Net income for the nine-month period increased 7% to $1.2 billion. The pro forma data reflect a full period of operating results for Disney and its newly acquired Capital Cities/ABC. Broadcasting pro forma revenues increased 7% to $1.6 billion for the quarter; operating income increased 19% to $309 million.
