Disney names Internet chief

Walt Disney Co. has promoted Jake Winebaum to president of Buena Vista Internet Services, a newly created division encompassing all of the company's Internet-related businesses. Mr. Winebaum, who retains current responsibilities as president of Disney Online, will now oversee Disney's other Internet activities, such as ABC.com, ABCNews.com and ESPN SportsZone. He will report to Barton Boyd, chairman of Disney Consumer Products.
