Another Disney park planned

Published on .

Disney's Wild Animal Kingdom, the fourth theme park from the Walt Disney Co., was announced Tuesday. The $760 million project will be built on 500 acres in Florida near Lake Buena Vista, home of Walt Disney World. Disney's Wild Animal Kingdom, to be the largest of all Disney parks, will be divided into several distinct regions of "lands," including one devoted to the animals of Africa, mythological creatures and dinosaurs. The park is expected to open in 1998.
