Disney goes after Starwave

The Walt Disney Co. is negotiating to take a one-third stake in Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's Starwave Corp. and assume operation control of the Internet company. Experts estimate the price tag for the company between $250 million and $300 million. Disney's ESPN and Starwave already jointly operate ESPNET SportsZone. Starwave sites also include NASCAR.com, NBA.com and Outside Online.
