DMA breaks UPS strike ads

The Direct Marketing Association, New York, breaks a short term $250,000 ad campaign Aug. 15 with the message that, despite the United Parcel Service strike, the catalog industry "can still deliver the goods." Print ads from Taylor, Dougherty, Rost & Partners, Harrison, N.Y., will run in USA Today and in six individual markets. Additional newspapers could be added to the media buy over the weekend.
