Dole campaign buys ad time on soaps

Republican presidential nominee Bob Dole, whose attacks on the Hollywood creative community over inappropriate program content are well documented, is spending $1.3 million to buy 61 :30s on daytime soap operas. Target Enterprises, Encino, Calif., has made buys on ABC and NBC, and also has requested availabilities on CBS' soaps for the candidate.
