Domino's expands in Bolivia

Published on .

LA PAZ--Domino's Pizza Bolivia has opened its second restaurant since coming to La Paz, the Bolivian capital, four months ago. The company's advertising is done by McCann-Erickson Worldwide. Kurt Jurgensen, general manager of the operation, says $60,000 is budgeted on advertising this year and the amount will double in 1999.

Mr. Jurgensen says the company plans on opening one more restaurant in La Paz in early 1999 and will be expanding to Santa Cruz, the country's second largest city, in April 1999.

"We have had an excellent start and expect continued growth in the coming years," Mr. Jurgensen says. "Bolivians are very happy with the service and the quality of our product.
