Dorman to head AT&T-BT venture

David Dorman, 45, resigned as president-CEO of Internet broadcast company PointCast, Sunnyvale, Calif., to become CEO of the $10 billion venture formed by AT&T Corp. and BT. The company is to be launched later in 1999, pending regulatory approval. Phil Koen succeeds Mr. Dorman, from exec VP-chief operating officer. Mr. Dorman will remain chairman of PointCast's board.
