Another dot-com to Super Bowl

Auto-Trader.com, Atlanta, will advertise during the third quarter of next month's Super Bowl. The classifieds site for used cars and trucks has bought 30 seconds during that period, said Clark Wood, VP-marketing. Doner, Southfield, Mich., enlisted Digital Domain for special effects showing car shoppers in a sea of virtual inventory that changes with the buyers' whims. The tag: "Your car is waiting.'' AutoTrader merged with AutoConnect in July and adopted the AutoTrader name. Doner won the estimated $15 million AutoConnect account in May.
