New York-based online ad network and ad-serving company DoubleClick has acquired approximately 60% of the stock of Flashbase, another New York company, which offers an automated solution for the design and management of online sweepstakes. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Flashbase markets sweepstakes as customizable tools to help businesses acquire new customers.
