DoubleClick expands to France

Internet ad network DoubleClick kicked off DoubleClick France June 19 by opening an office in Paris. DoubleClick France will sell advertising for a network of French-based Web sites. It will target local and and overseas advertisers. DoubleClick France has ad sales representation contracts with AltaVista France and Les 3 Suisses (www.3suisses.fr), a French retailer. With the latest opening, U.S.-based DoubleClick has offices in the U.K., Australia, Spain, Sweden, Canada, Italy and Japan.
