DOW CORNING LOOKS TO RESPONSYS TO IMPROVE WEB SITE

(June 27, 2001) -- Dow Corning Corp. selected interactive direct marketing agency Responsys, Palo Alto, Calif., to improve its Web site in the hopes of strengthening customer relationships and retention.

Dow Corning will use Reponsys Interact to ask Web site registrants for feedback about the site.

The company also plans to use Responsys technology for internal communications such as notifying sales distributors of new products or promotions, as well as in the human resources department to survey employees. -- Cara Beardi
