Hong Kong -- Dow Jones & Co. has appointed Tamsin Newman as advertising sales director, greater China. Ms. Newman is based in Hong Kong, where she will oversee sales for the global Wall Street Journal, Barron's
and WSJ.com in Hong Kong and Taiwan and all Dow Jones titles in mainland China. Working closely with CNBC, she will also contribute to cross-title media packages between CNBC and Dow Jones products, particularly the weekday Asian Wall Street Journal,
the weekly Far Eastern Economic Review
and CNBC Asia, a satellite channel jointly owned by NBC and Dow Jones. Prior to joining Dow Jones, Ms. Newman was publishing director of Asset Magazine
in Hong Kong. She has also served as advertising manager for the Financial Times Group and European sales director for Global Finance
