DowBrands sold to S.C. Johnson

Dow Chemical Co., Midland, Mich., said it agreed to sell Indianapolis-based DowBrands, its consumer products subsidiary, to S.C. Johnson & Son, Racine, Wis. DowBrands' two business units are: Home Food Management, including Ziploc brand bags, Saran Wrap plastic film and Handi-Wrap plastic film; and Home Care Products, including Dow Bathroom Cleaner With Scrubbing Bubbles, Spray'N Wash soil and stain remover, Fantastik all-purpose cleaner and Glass Plus multisurface cleaner. Terms were not disclosed. Campbell-Mithun-Esty, Minneapolis, is the DowBrands agency.
