DraftWorldwide buys Creactiva

DraftWorldwide, Chicago, the Interpublic Group of Cos.-owned No. 3 marketing services agency, acquired South American promotions agency Creactiva, Santiago, Chile. The shop, Draft's second on the continent after its 1997 acquisition of an agency in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be renamed DraftWorldwide Creactiva. Managing Director Emilio Abud and International Creative Director Marcelo Borlando, who co-founded Creactiva in 1995, will continue to lead the agency, reporting to Perry Miele, president of DraftWorldwide's International Group. Clients include Coca-Cola Co., S.C. Johnson & Co. and Walt Disney Co.
