DreamWorks goes to Butler, Shine & Stern

DreamWorks Interactive, a division of the fledgling DreamWorks SKG studio in Universal City, Calif., has awarded its estimated $8 million-$10 million account to Butler, Shine & Stern, Sausalito, California. The agency will work on TV and print ads as well as packaging for forthcoming videogames and CD-ROM games for kids that will hit stores for Christmas. Butler, Shine will handle advertising for interactive products based on future DreamWorks films. The agency beat out Anderson & Lembke, San Francisco, and Ground Zero, Venice, Calif.
