DreamWorks delays media decision

Published on .

Executives close to the DreamWorks SKG media buying review say the studio has decided not to choose a permanent home for its $85 million account until yearend. Instead, DreamWorks, Universal City, Calif., is said to have contracted with two agencies to handle media buying for its two fourth-quarter feature film releases. Incumbent Focus Media, Santa Monica, Calif., will handle "Antz," while GSD&M, Austin, Texas, will handle "The Prince of Egypt." DreamWorks didn't return calls at deadline.
