Mercedes-Benz of North America broke the first spot for its 1999 brand campaign on ABC's "The Practice" Oct. 25. Lowe & Partners/SMS, New York, continues tying descriptive words to the brand. This "exhilaration" execution shows Peter Pan awakening an older "Michael," who realizes he can fly again -- in the SLK convertible. More spots are due in the first quarter. Mercedes spent $40.1 million in the first half of 1998.
